Joss uses a H575 Heritage archtop guitar that was built in 1987. It has 'Heritage 1' humbucking pickups and is a solid top hollow body jazz guitar made in the old Gibson factory, Kalamazoo, Michigen USA. You can find the specification of the guitar by clicking on the link below.

Joss uses a 10" Mambo ampifier hand-built by Jon Shaw. After spending many years trying to find a lightweight portable amp that was ideal for jazz Joss stumbled across Jon's Amps while attending a jazz workshop run by the North Wales Jazz society. He fell in love with the sound straight away and got in touch with Jon who sent him a demo model to trail. After a week of tests and comparisons at gigs and seeking the opinions of other guitarists Joss made the decsion to finally buy of of these beauties. He hasn't looked back since!
