Mambo Amp

So... My Mambo amp gave in on Monday afternoon. No idea what happened to it. I was using it one minute, went away from it for about 10 minutes, came back to it and it wasn't working. I tried plugging it in to a different socket - nothing. I tried a different kettle lead- nothing. I tried replacing the fuse in the power supply - nothing. I looked at some schemantics for the amp, didn't have a clue what I was looking at and gave up. There was only one thing for it- contact Jon Mambo (Shaw) at Mambo amps and ask for some help! I have to say, the customer service I have recieved has been exemplary! Within minutes of sending him and email he sent me a UPS label and told me to box up the amp and send it to him. Within a few days he then emailed me again to say that he had repaired the amp (apparently it was nothing serious!) and that he had also replaced the front grill on the amp to a tweed grill (now standard on all of his amps). I'm blown away! I bought the amp about 3 years ago and this is the first time I have had an issue, Jon's customer service has been excellent throughout the purchasing period where he lent me an 8" model to try, all the way up to 3 years later when I've had my first issue with the amp and it has returned as good as (perhaps better than) new.
